This policy explains what Interview Ready ("we") collects when you use this website, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run mock interviews and show your history.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google. Sign-in is handled by Supabase.
- Your resume, if you upload one: the text is read to understand your skills and write questions. The file is not saved. A short profile written from it (your name, target role, years of experience, a two-sentence summary, main skills and likely interview topics) is saved with your session.
- Your practice sessions: the questions, your answers, scores and feedback, so you can see them in your history.
- Usage counts: how many AI requests you made each day, to apply the free daily limit.
- Reviews: if you write a review, the name, role, rating and comment you enter. Approved reviews are shown publicly.
How your data is processed
- AI feedback: your resume text and answers are sent to Google's Gemini API to write questions and score answers. Google may process this data under its own terms, so please do not include sensitive personal details (such as ID numbers or health information) in your resume or answers.
- Voice answers: when you answer by speaking, your browser's speech recognition turns your voice into text. In Chrome and Edge this is done by the browser maker's service. We receive only the text.
- Storage and hosting: data is stored with Supabase and the website is hosted on Vercel.
We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your sessions are kept until you ask us to delete them or delete your account. To delete your data, or to get a copy of it, message us on LinkedIn and tell us the email address you sign in with.
Children
Interview Ready is meant for students and job seekers aged 18 and over. If you are younger, please use it with a parent or guardian's permission.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. See also our terms of use.
